Protein Skimmers Removable Tower

Installing the Tower:

1	Clean out your HookenOn Skimmer, and empty all the water from the Main Body.

2	Place the empty skimmer on a sturdy surface, such as a table, or on the floor.

3	Take the Tower and insert it into the Main Body.

4	Once the O-ring contacts the edge, firmly PRESS DOWN, where the two bold arrows indicate on the Neck Plate. If you are repeated removing the tower, we recommended that you apply some VASELINE to the O-ring.

5	When you press down, it try to 'wiggle' the pressure you are applying.

BE PATIENT! If you are having trouble, ask your dealer for some assistance.

Removing the Top:

1	Disconnect the hoses attached to the skimmer and remove the skimmer from the aquarium.

2	Empty all the water out of the skimmer.

3	Place the empty skimmer on a sturdy surface, such as a table, or on the floor.

4	"'WIGGLE" the Tower off, by PULLING UP on the Upper Neck Plate only. Do not grab or pull the Tower anywhere above the Upper Neck Plate! You may break the Neck of the skimmer if you do this.

5	BE PATIENT! When the Tower has not been removed for months, the O-ring forms a very good seal. Patiently wiggle the Neck Plate. Eventually the seal will break and the Tower will slide out easily.

Do Not 'install or remove' the top while unit is mounted onto the aquarium. This may result in damage to the skimmer
