Build an aquarium, not airplane museum

Thursday, November 30, 2006

"Arizona already has a world-class airplane museum in Tucson, so the push for another such museum in Phoenix was rather inane."

This I completely agree with, an aquarium has 2 major functions the way I see it. One it serves as a educational tool to school children and people of all ages. An airplane museum while it also has its educational purposes, the aquarium give people a chance to see a true eco-system at work and is much more beneficial.

The second is the amount of tourism that it could potentially bring to the area. Again an airplane museum can serve the same purpose but with one so close in the vincinity, I can see the aquarium being a much more marketable tool for tourism.

Just my thoughts!
